I traded this sector many times since the 2-20-13 post. I am 90% cash right now. I missed a runup but made plenty. Am concerned about overall market right now. Have been for some time. I like to buy assets at 1/3 to 1/2 real value. Not manyy bargains right now. DaninFW
Yeah the stock ran for almost 6 weeks straight up to the earnings call. It was overdue for a correction and the Call was a likely turning point. Still after today's action, I wonder what might have been, had they not deliberately given themselves a loss due to refinancing costs. What length period of time is GTN a "good short" for? Is it a good long-term short? Or just a good short for a trade? Also, going by consensus estimates of .37 EPS for the year, what P/E would you give GTN today? And considering that 2014 will be a stronger year due to political spending, what EOY price would anyone who so wisely called the recent top give to GTN?
