I just can't get by how childish this board is. Really ! I guess the adults gave up posting here,,,
,, I know I'm a bit slow on the uptake but,,. I'm just amazed at the behavior of the folks here. It's not a stock board,, it's more like a forum for children. And what confounds me is they're not embraced by themselves. What's that about ???? No shame...Big mouths and not bright enough to be ashamed about it... They say an empty barrel makes the most noise.

Go to "Stocktwits" its a lot better and no fools are allowed. "Yahoo" is a trash dump.

You're absolutely right. The first time I visited I was amazed at the puerility of the statements made here, completely unsubstantiated claims, wild ravings, and outright garbage that sadly seems to be more the norm than you'd expect.
I would have expected a modicum of intelligence from people who actually invest money, from both longs and shorts. Your description of being a forum more representative of children is accurate. However I often feel these boards are more akin to a madhouse. I can't believe that some of the stupidest posts can be by people who are investing their money. I can only guess they're probably more gamblers, long or short.
There ARE stome gems here and there though. A few good posters, although my biggest ripe is there's no way to 'follow' them as it would save a lot of time. My only advice is put as many people who post worthless posts on ignore as you can. Not ideal by any stretch, but it WILL help sieve our some of the wheat from the chaff.- 1 Reply to alpha2735
