everytime it gains a little traction someone takes a dump on it. With the thin float it gets croak. Just no institutional support here.

    • Schwab has downgraded HMST to "F" lowest possible rating. Volumes have picked up with now 146k shares traded 4 hours into the trading day. Stock down sharply today and recently. Okay so they changed accountants but how is that such a negative. Other than that they have had their earnings estimates lowered. That is a negative and not sure how that is being projected. They institute a dividend and get little to no credit for that. I have totally been wrong on this one.

      • This thing was a screaming 'buy' in January after earnings. You would have thought that the initiation of a dividend would have turned the tide. On that announcement, the CEO commented that the dividend was in support of their continued strong performance.....So all this baffles me too. You have to think that the change in the accountant has raised a concern about a possible 'cooking of the books'.....

      • HMST has now basically broken the 50 day simple moving average, the 200 days simple moving average and the 150 day moving average which should be a smoothing mechanism. The stock action is the largest negative out there and fighting it has been quite painful. I screen for my stocks and the research I put into this was as extensive as the information in the public arena allowed. Bummer.
