It's a half hour discussion with Bill Moyer (who most respect), and this discussion with Wm Black is simply astounding. The power brokers who are not forthright and honest should exit their occupations, and hang their heads in shame. I will spread this video to all who can invest their half hour too. I'm so disappointed! And I thought I was a republican. Too sad to follow ANY political party.
Wil, one of the things Black talked about, that the banks are in worse shape than they are telling us, appears to have been true given that the tax cheat has decided to keep the results of the so-called "stress testing" secret for now.
Good interview with what is probably and sadly all truthful. My kids know right from wrong but the folks in charge of our country's largest financial institutions and politicians from BOTH sides (mostly Democrats) have driven us all into the ground. 40, 50, and 60 something's. Some leadership. Stack up your losses from 2000 to 2003 along with the last 18 months and what do you have. Your own "Great Depression". I certainly feel like I have had mine. Not in a soup line yet but when those in charge are the ones that created the problems knowingly to enrich themselves at our expense, then hanging is too good for them. The years of 2000 to 2010 is America's own "lost decade" like what the Japanese have gone through. Too bad ours is going to be longer.
Yes, great interview...but seems the Bush Administration did most of the deregulation, not the Democrats...yes, both sides of the power elite are totally to blame...lets spread this thing far and wide so we can get real change that is needed...put meat on the words spoken at the recent G-20 meeting to regulate the financial markets and the banks.
