Asking the board for help. I have been extended a role with D&B sales. One way I measure a potential employer is by understanding how involved senior leadership is..ie; visits customers and field offices. So my question is...does the President regularly visit customers and the field offices to get a feel of what is working and not? I have been told yes, but wanted to hear it from the sales team members. From my experience, if this happens, life is good, and when it does not...there is no reality check at HQ. Any feedback is helpful. Thx!
Company treats its employees impersonally and as easily expendable resources. You have a few bad seeds in the Company who are inexperienced and probably incompetent creating a real negative environment. I would steer clear of them.
I have heard of the hire, but have also heard the D&B reps have started a new drinking game at team events. You drink every time Joe mentions what a success he was at Oracle. Rumor has it, the bar bills have been waaaaaay over budget. That cannot be good news. BTW, took a job at Experian. We wear suits over here. LOL!
I would tell you that you are crazier than the shithouse rat to work for these people, but you wouldn't listen, so god bless you!
The next floater you'll probably end up on is IUSA, after these "smart people" sell your soul to Wallstreet in a financial flexibility movement as nonchalant as a horse marching in a parade.
speaking as Senior management - I wouldn't go see one of our customers unless they were taking me to a strppy joint.
The Durkin Boy always seemed to have customers willing to go the strippy joint as did Dancing Peterson.
So before you ask me to join you on a sales call, keep that in mind.
