D&B missed the chance to buy Jigsaw, and with it the chance to move toward crowd-sourcing. While D&B can claim "thousands of sources of data", competitors using crowd-sourcing will claim millions of sources.
D&B missed the concept of crowd-sourced data. D&B continues to peddle old data, and old ideas, on old retreaded platforms.
Now the founder of Jigsaw is aiming right at the heart of this once great company. InfoArmy, if successful, could give D&B a run for her money. This InfoArmy news can't be welcomed by DNB shareholders, but it should not come as a surprise.
