The message is clear - flavors are winning over colas. Look at the volume drops on diet pepsi and coke and the increase in volume on diet dr pepper and, say, mountain dew. I'd rather have DPS's flavored brands going into this cycle than any other portfolio of brands (from a growth perspective). Coke and Pepsi, to spike growth, could also make a hostile bid for DPS. This is going to be fun to watch play out over the next couple of years.
