The stocks I have bought in the last few weeks are not that exciting. Just good dividend paying stocks, that might have some price appreciation if treasury yields stay low. Most of these are covered by DP in his newsletter.

I see that the earnings for FBS came out Friday. A little lower than I thought, but capital ratios are still rising.
Capital ratio's for FBS are close to OSBC and OSBC was able to get their consent order lifted, so maybe FBS will be there in another quarter.
They re-opened the series A preferred up for a secondary priced at $25. Stock pays 10.875% and was previously trading at $27+ before they announced the offering. Not looking to hold long term, just a quick trade for a buck or two. It's a best efforts offering, so it should hold this price around $25 until they issue the 500,000 shares.
