Has this message board been shut down?

There have been no posts since the 7th, and only very short messages get displayed. Is this part of Yahoo's reduction in force?

    • I had not thought about that. Thats an interesting thought and i wonder how much comment boards on AP new's hyper biased articles will change from nonsensical crap to legitimate people raising concern. I should take 30 articles pre layof and compare 30 articles post layoff and look for differences for the hell of it.

    • Not much from blabbermouths like me as there is not much going on. The economy is being held up by QE2 for now & possibly a stealth QE3. The deficit keeps climbing exponentially but the currency is stable right now so gold prices are tamped down. I have been concentrating on 'prepping' right now & just enjoying life too. Given the whole economic situation w/our fiat credit system, it is only a matter of time b4 some new black swan strikes us. I get my daily dose of doom & gloom from various economic sites but overall there is not much new out there... USAGX sux right now but for dollar cost averagers it allows us time to buy up shares at a cheaper price. My time frame for selling is up to the year 2020. Note: if everyone goes 'negative' on gold then I would expect that will be a bottom signal and that prices will begin to rise again.

      • Of course there is no way to gage the experience of others who attempt to post here, but there have been increasing complaints of messages being deleted on other message boards. Maybe that has driven away people who don’t have the time to construct messages only to have them deleted. On the other hand there is a lot of non-pertinent drivel that has disappeared, not much on this m/b, but on a number of others, and that most would consider as a good thing.
