I guess the question I should have asked was, for how many trips made up the $101,000.00. I am always against Government waste. But, I do know a law was passed that the Speaker of the House was to have a military plane to travel in after 9/11. Dennis Hastert used the military plane practically every weekend which was his right. Seeing you know so much about flight costs by politicians, how much did it cost the taxpayer when GWB flew out to the ship that was only 30 miles from shore? I will wait for your answer to see if you really are against excessive spending.
By watching and listening to the attached news report from CNN should answer your weak questions.
What a truly horrable person. And, three heartbeats from being President of the US. How did this happen? And how does she stay in office?
I don't know what the hell you 'checked out', but you sure didn't check much. This took me less than 1 minute to find on a very slow internet conection. I just don't know about you people. If it doesn't agree with the your preconcieved notions it is always a lie! I'd say in this case that you are the one with no credibility whatsoever. Grow up, brat!
rd: Made a difference in people's lives, blah, blah, blah....yup, you're a liberal alright. Question is did you produce anything? Create any wealth for the greater good? Do you understand the virtues of capitalism? I didn't think so.
rd: Okay let's bury the hatchet on the work background thingy. That's really not the issue. I believe you worked hard over your life and should be congratulated for that. Most handout lib types can't say the same. ("Where's my check!!")
The real issue is did you vote for the doofus currently in office? I hope not, because everyone who pulled the lever for The Messiah should feel accountable and a whole lot disappointed right now.
But take some heart in knowing that even though liberalism is a disease, it's not incurable. Come join us on the other side, you'll feel much better for it.
What is it about you? You can't seem to express a thought without attacking anyone who disagrees with you. As a simple suggestion, you might try to come up with perjoritives using words that you understand the meaning of.
Unfortunately, I don't have the time to continue this enlightened conversation because I have to get back to work. After all, someone has to earn a living to pay their income taxes so that the government can make a pretense of having income to allow you to eat - I sincerely doubt that you do much to contribute to your own upkeep - financial or otherwise.
In the words of the youngsters (and I suspect that you are) that you may understand - FU2. As near as I can tell, you are the strongest argument for abortion that I've come across in a long time.
With your background, I am quite surprised that you have the present attitude and politics. Plainly, you are on the wrong side of the fence here.
I too grew up on a farm in the Midwest, spent 4.5 years in the US Navy in the early to mid 60’s, 3.5 years in the Submarine Service aboard the USS Cusk – (SS-348) home ported out of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, used the GI Bill and had my own electrical contracting business to finance my college education, was a professor at the college while working on my M.S. degree, worked for Chevron for 30 years as a union employee, supervisor, department head and operations manager on mostly domestic projects with some international exposure toward the end of my working career. And, during the process, moved my family more times than a man should and way more than I wanted to. overall, it was a great ride and well worth my and my families efforts and sacrificies.
Now, to the issues at hand… How can you represent the present Congressional majority? Most of those people would not know how to pour piss out of a work boot if the instructions were on the heel. Take another hard look at the backgrounds of those that represent the present majority. The farmers that I grew up with did not need someone to tell them what was right or wrong. Nor did they need the US government to keep them profitable.
I hope that you did not take my previous email asking about personal and work background personally, not my intent.
My intent was to ask rdietxche34 what his personal and work backgrounds were. And, to give him a chance to justify his liberal point of view. He is the one that is indicating that he has worked harder than anyone else that is in the discussion about Sepeaker Pelosi's squandering hundreds of thousands of dollars of the tax payers hard earned money and why he supports her....
I did reply to your e-mail verifying my education, and a detail about my work experiences. Maybe the post was to long and did make make the trip. Sorry about that. I grew up on a farm where we learned to work at a young age. In fact, I milked my first cow by hand when I was eight years old. One poster to this site stated he works 50 hours a week. I sometimes had 30 hours worked from Friday night to Monday morning when I went to work. I know farmers that work 48 hours in two days when it is planting season. Yes, you read that right, they didn't quit planting for two days. So don't give my that crap about how hard some of you work.
