    Business Week Article--Thoughts

No let's have a rule of law that says U.S. multinational companies' assets are up for grabs from corrupt foreign judgements no matter how they are obtained or where. What about potential corrupt judgements for other rogue countries other than Ecuador like Sudan, Iran, Syria, Libya, or a one man ruled island country, etc. (the potential list goes on and on) ? The U.S. courts should simply stand down and let the wealth of our country as manifested in its U.S. companies with U.S. shareholders be simply turned over to those countries because a puppet and paid for judge in one of those countries says so? If so, we are in serious trouble in the U.S. What other country would permit such an improper taking of its hard-earned wealth and implement an unfair and unjust rule of law that would lead to its decline? None that I know of.
