    From the Get-Go

I have been with OZRK since day one and intend to stay. IPO'd at 16 split 2/1 at about 40 +- and now trades in the 38-40 range. Who can argue with that? Huh?

    • Since you've been a shareholder for quite a while, do you know the number of shares issued and authorized? My question is rooted in my curiosity of whether or not there are sufficient shares for the BOD to announce another stock split (in the future) without first having to ask shareholders to vote to increase the number of shares. This information would be in OZRK's Annual Report--which I do not have considering I purchased my first shares yesterday (the reason OZRK is temporarily going down).

Before making this posting, I did go to OZRK's IR page, but the Annual Report is not available there. Neither is the dividend history, which is of interest to many shareholders. Guess I'll drop them a note.

I am strictly an amateur investor. I bought on guts because the bank was growing like a weed and still showing a profit ... so I can't tell you what you want to know. However, if you will make contact with their investor relations person, I'm confident you will get the information you want. I have bought several times over the years and have never been dissapointed.
        Kindest regards, Arky
