    • I own one. I got a terrific price on it, and it's
the EXACT same thing as a DELL computer, with the
exception of the lettering on the plastic container that
      surrounds it.

Great computer and the service at PC
Connection can't be beat. Look for this company to take away
a LOT of Dell and Gateway's customers! With a P/E
ratio of only 13.xx%, look for this stock to go up big
      in the coming quarters.

    • I heard about a new site.
      They have been
      nailing some hot picks.
I watched the last two weeks
and it looked like there may be some
      truth in this
one so I got in on the last one and actually
      made
some money. If any of you have heard the same rumors,
      I
can tell you the last three weeks have been
      scores for sure.
      Here is the address.
      Go to
message #70 for the ticker symbol JAX
      for a hot link
      to this site.

    • green_peace_now,

      I would urge you to
reconsider your decision not to post again. There is
absolutely no shame in doing so and posting again in the
      future.

I found your last post delightful (except for the
part about not posting again) and would consider it a
loss to not be able to gain insight from your views in
the future. It's even OK if we disagree
<smile>! But really, please do post.

      It would seem
that we share the same admiration of PCCC as a
company, and though as an investor I would love to see the
price per share start up and never stop, the company
remains the best in the industry (in my humble opinion)
      either way.

I once had an order I needed filled
immediately! Such was the urgency that I drove from my home
over to Marlow to deliver the check (I wanted to pay
by check). The receptionist at the desk immediately
called the sales department when I arrived and within
moments the "Manager" came practically running down the
stairs to greet me. After making me feel like the most
important customer the company had he ran upstairs with my
check (as it was late in the day and he wanted to get
me overnight delivery) to verify he could get me
next day service. Within moments he was back, said he
would personally see my order through, shook my hand
and gave me his personal word I would have my order
the next morning. The next morning it was "in my
      hand".

What readers my not realize is that this case was not
an exception to the rule. It was the rule. This is
how seriously PC Connection cares about its customers
and their satisfaction. I say this to potential
investors: PC Connection is a great company to invest in
whether long term or short term. That's just the way I
feel, not to mention their excellent growth and
      financial performance.

      green_peace_now, please
      stay.

      Your friend,

      egims

    • Do you think the EPIQ PC's will do as well as PC Connection's MDS1000?

    • lesson #1.I think greenie has fallen in love and
only has tunnel vision. There is a reason that we are
at this trading range and it has to do with the
company.PR IR you pick one but if it was as good as you said
we would be in triple digits.I believe in PCCC but
it has done nothing to excite me other than becoming
predictable.EGIMS has this puppy down.buy it then sell it.HISTORY
      REPEATS lesson#2

    • Hello friends,

      I plan to refrain from
posting in the future because it seems to accomplish
nothing. I do however believe that there are many other
people that think the same way that I do. The internet
stocks have been great for many people including myself
at times however I think we will see many people
loose a lot of money from these overpriced securities.
It is quite simple you need profit to survive in any
business and many of these Internet companies will never
see a profit. The executives with heavy stock options
and the investor that buys these companies at the
right time will certainly make money but at some point
these e-companies will fall out of favor in the eyes of
the investor. I believe this will happen after a few
start folding. Some companies such as PC Connection
consider the Internet a great and exciting new way to sell
product but not the only way to sell product. In order to
survive in the computer industry for approximately 17
years you really need to be able to see the overall
picture. Try to think of how many companies have come and
gone in the computer industry in the past 17 years and
maybe you will have an appreciation of how special this
company really is. Their Internet presence is what it
should be, growing and profitable. If you want them to
tell you that PCC is all about the internet, they will
probably tell you it isnt and if you ask them 10 years
from now they will give you the same response.
      The
owners, (Pat Gallop and Dave Hall) are truly incredible
people that care deeply about the future of PC
Connection. They gave up a large portion of their lives to
building (in my opinion) one of the greatest high-tech
companies in the world. This was accomplished through moral
leadership and a keen understanding of the industry. It
seems now that PC Connection wins so many awards that
it becomes expected instead of appreciated when the
      awards a granted.
Ill get back on the topic now. I
own investments in many firms (mostly high-tech) and
have found that I have so much more information
available than I did in the past. If you are able to post
messages on this board you are also capable of gathering
all or almost all of the public information that is
available on a public company. This instant gratification
can cause a good person to be unreasonable when it
comes to communicating with a public company. I dont
even need to look at stock prices anymore all I need
to do is read the message boards and I can tell how
the stock is doing. If there is heavy criticism of
the IR/PR you know the stock is down. It must be
similar to being a coach of a professional franchise.
Most of the information that you are looking for is
right there on the Internet. Companies generally
publish information for their investors on the Internet
so you can see it immediately. If the information
that you are looking for is not available than it
probably is not being disclosed yet.
      In closing
Please, no negative replies to this post I really mean no
offense by what I have posted as I stated earlier I will
be refraining from posting to this board in the
future. Im sure we will have a record breaking
preliminary report in the near future and hopefully a long
      upward trend for the stock.

      I wish you all the
      best.

BTW ; AOL is dead in the long run, broadband will
probably eliminate them. Short-term outlook is quite
      positive. Happy investing!!!!!!!!!
      Also, ISPO680, I
like my nickname you authored greanie (cool name, I
wonder if it is available good luck friend)

    • How about you pump some more money in Pccc too? Or do you have more brains than money? I would guess the latter.

    • Forgive me oh illustrious long-term investor!What
I would like PR/IR to do is what they are supposed
to do-increase public exposure-interest in their
stock.Internet aspect of PCCC has been sadly neglected by PR.As
      a matter of fact,it has been downplayed.Tracey
Turner informed me that PCCC is (SO MUCH MORE) than an
internet company.Maybe so, but that does not help the
stock price-which I assume that you would like to see
rise. How about you sink a big wad of money into this
stock, maybe it will go up and I will get out.Why not?
According to you you can,t lose!May have to hold 10 years,
      but,what the heck, right?

    • your post was right on. sounds like some mo' players with more money than brains.
      have a great day
