Has anyone received "discounted shares" through Aqua's DRIP? This seems like a marketing ploy. How much does this add up to over time?
Not a ploy... 5% free money
caseofficer78 -- This is not a marketing ploy. It's 5 percent off every time you reinvest your dividends. This has been in place for a long time. There is also no fee on cash contributions to this aptly-named DRIP.
The last Div on my drip was 3/1/13.
Div reinvested at $27.52 / share
FMV was $29.02 / share at the time
about 5% discount. So yes they are discounted if you reinvest the Div
You buy shares on the diveys that you get. They "sell" additional shares at a 5% discount of the days average price with your divey.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
'enough' is correct, it is complex to calculate and of course will vary for each individual.
If you like the stock, you like it. I've held WTR in a drip for a while now. I can't complain.
