      • Let's see: 5.5% yield; solid industrial marketing; slew of proprietary catalog products with 10 year design cycles; low cost mainly fabless products. This position, plus the yield says it's undervalued. I don't think most most investors understand the cash generating power of an industrial catalog driven product line. No one in analog really wants to compete anymore, and that's good for cash generation.

Anyway, keep thinking it's overvalued, I'll be buying on further decreases. It's possible there is very little growth, but really all they need to do is balance costs to the new revenue level to regain profitability. However I would think that a more aggressive larger competitor would take this opportunity to consolidate the market. The analog players seem to be fairly conservative on acquisitions but I know that all of the top 5 have made absolutely horrendous acquisitions in the past (exception of LT) in hopes of growing. Buying isil would be a cash flow play, and a consolidation, and market position building strategy for the right acquirer.
