    CAH VS ABC

Noone in ABC is sure where the conmpany is going. There are many division managers that are looking to retire because of the corporate politics. There are also credible rumors that Customer Service departments are going to be centralized and moved out of the DC's. Also multiple DC's will be led by one manager. HR is also being consolidated. BIG TIME ---CUTTING THE NOSE OFF to spite the face and decisions that dont make any sense. Many Many unhappy associates in Amerisourcebergen right now. Look for unions to invade ABC in the next couple of years. Sad Sad progression for what used to be a great organization. Maybe the officers should step into a DC and learn how things work before making decisions. Doing the reorganization of the sales force should have taught them a lesson but I dont think it did. UNREAL !

MCK seems to be the man to beat. Good leaders and good financials. Take the VA contract for example...they didnt want to leave. ABC got express scripts because MCK wasnt involved. The ultimate battle of "the other two". Congrats Steve C you have undone what Dave Yost did in a little under one year. Aren't you proud??

    • I owned MCK and fox Pharm, MCK went in offered more salary & perks to fox executives.
Fox had many AF hospital contracts and MCK went in and underpriced fox drugs.
I got so angry I sold my entire holdings of MCK. Lost a bundle with Fox going under
but overall nearly broke even between the two. Note this happened approx 96 or 97.
Beware of MCK. After my experience with MCK I don't trust management.
      Sincerely, tharp98
