Fantastic site - more info on AAS than I have
seen on YAHOO. The lastest msg. was at 5:08 pm, and if
I still had doubts about selling, they would now be
gone. Many thanks. You are with a great company and I
hope to join you.
Great website is www.bloomberg.com. They must
have a reporter at the trial. According to their last
couple of columns, the judge will issue his decision on
7/31 which is the day before his month long vacation.
I'm on the McK side & we're enjoying the ride too!
Best of luck!!
Back on 9-23-97, .71 x 99.82 (MCK) was worth
70.86 per AAS share.
Then on 1-7-98 MCK split 2:1,
then 1.42 x 51.4125 (MCK)= 73.00 per AAS share (AAS
was 56.75). AS OF NOW, 1.42 x 89.5625 = 127.178 per
AAS share. My 200 shares (IF MERGER GOES THRU) would
would be 200 x 1.42 = 284 shares MCK @ 89.5625 (if
merger goes thru at that price) = $25,435. My cost was
$ll,888, giving me a $13,547 profit!!! If I get scared
real bad, and sell tomorrow, I might get 78/share AAS
(hit 78.125 today), my profit would be 15600 - 11888 =
3712 (or about 10,000 less if I held and the merger
I have decided to hold - the main
reason, if the merger doesn't go thru, I think AAS will
not drop below 60 (who knows), and has all the
potential to take off like MCK did this year. If the merger
does go thru (and I think it will be decided in 10 to
20 days - my guess), WHOPPEEEEEEEEEEE - TAKE OFF
I have no personal knowledge of the court case
but I beleive the the stock price is telling us about
the court proceedings as AAS proceeds higher on heavy
volume. I have fastened my seat belt for the ride.
