My mother today ,from out of town ,(not a trustco account holder),discovered its against TRST policy to make change for non account holders. They, due to this, lost a prospective account holder worth well into the 7 figure range.I wonder just how many other prospective account holders have been turned off due to this policy? It s the first time I have heard of this "policy" .
Just back with the news Seems some guy with a lisp and dressed in a Tarzan out fit Has been passing phoney mhoney in the form of FAKE Five Dollar bills; mostly around the Albany area. NOW You know the meaning of: CHEAP FRAUD!!
Yes, it quite unfortunate that a potential customer was slighted. You would think a bank in a town with competitors would accomodate someone that costs the bank nothing but goodwill. Customer service is key to banking. I would make it a point to cater to the older population, they generally have lots of rainy day cash saved. Corporate management at its best.
