Ron Paul and most thinking people want to audit the Fed. The Senate vote is most likely tomorrow. Please contact your Senators to get them to support auditing the Fed and bringing transparency to our monetary system. Here is the link. Please do your part. All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men and women to do nothing. http://www.chooseliberty.org/vitter1.aspx?pid=rp2
What is the basic cause of this financial problem? What is the solution? My answer is greed. We are all guilty of that because the system is based on greed. We are all investing, hoping to make money, the more the better. It's our system. It's called capitalism and it has worked pretty well. Some are better at gaming the system than others. Over the last several centuries the banking families have proven themselves to be the best at it. In many ways it has been a capable system, helping to bring about great technological advances that has created great wealth and properity. The problem now is that the greatest gamers of the system have accumulated the bulk of the wealth defined in terms of money. This, of course, has giving them great political power. Power that they are not likely to give up. The solution is simple enough. Unbundle all that money and power that resides in so few hands. Our system worked quite well when we had a progressive tax system. That system has been essential junked in favor of an inflationary tax system which allows the accumulation of money and power into the hands of the few. It is a crying shame, because modern technology is on the verge of creating an unbelievably grand world for all the world's citizens. It's only greed that is holding us back.
When you put money before honesty, character, integrity and the golden rule doing unto others as you would have them do to you and complete and utter selfishness and greed, then you will as we have/are witnessing a failed system and consequently, society. We are on track imo.
