gold really is scarce, and the #$%$ they find now is thin and way down there. for the first thousand meters, the earths mantle is all fished out of gold. But what about silver? My sense is silver production is limitless, or no? please let me know the truth. tia
It's certainly not limitless, otherwise it would not be called a precious metal. Its supposed to be about 11x more abundant in the earth's crust than gold, but it has more industrial uses. I believe that demand will exceed supply forcing the price higher.
