Stores were buys also. There are 4 Rite Aids compared to no CVS and only 1 WAG store.New store went up also in another small town it was in a mall but now it is a standing store alone,no CVS or WAG there either.Rad has alot of stores in good locations most seem to be on a street corner and well seen.
Instead of buying all the ECK stores, that were less productive than the existing RAD stores, Rad should have kept to building new stores in their strongholds and non competitive environments...all the while whittling away at the debt...
But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...they had jack their debt up, dilute the stock, bring in frenchy french and his gang of couteaus to the board and try to convert a BUNCH of stores that haven't been profitable since the Taft Administration.
Oh well, its only money. Hope it works for them. OTWT
If they didnt buy them and WAG or CVS did then it would of been worse cometition for RAD.Once they turn them around it could be more pressure of WAG and CVS. Alot of places there is no more room to build etc so competition is locked out.
