Missed Opportunity, failure to serve customers need.
The price and the amount Medicare pays for the high-dose Flu vaccine is about double the standard dose. Being over 65 I asked for the high-dose. After getting the shot I asked if it was the high-dose and was told no, the standard is all they have. A poor service to customers as well as a missed opportunity to earn more. Not the way to run a customer service business.
My wife usually has bronchial complications after a cold and we think the flu would cause even more complications. For this reason I prefer that she have maximum protection. I am content with the regular dose for myself. Risks associated with the high-dose may outweigh the benefits but I do not know.
