OUCH!! CLOSED 47 STORES!! FLUFFS SSS NUMBERS

Drop 47 low ball stores out of the Mix and what you get is Fluffed SSS Numbers due to the 47 stores not dragging them down. You didnt necessarily sell more you just averaged the better stores. Plus when you close a store most of those customers go to another Rite Aid there for Increasing that stores SSS. So all in all you gained nothing but Fluffed SSS #'s............ace

    • OK acey let me get your thinking straight. Keep open money losing stores, and as some one said, RAD customers just go to another RAD store, increasing sales, issued new debt, at lower rate a bad thing, since it is debt, inflation running amuck in the US thus negating and SSS advance, Imma confused. Thought closing unprofitable stores was smart business, thought lowering cost of debt, was good finance, other than price of gas, I don't think inflation that great.

But then, how many fools listened to chicken little about the sky is falling?

Imma not sure if you are one of them lemmings following off the cliff, or you trying to get the lemmings to follow you off the cliff.

    • Hmmmm, actually sales were up year over year...what was total about $1.4 billion?
