Let's compare Walgreens to Rite Aid

This is my opinion only. Let's compare Walgreens to Rite Aid with some recent data. It goes back a little bit but nt as much #$%$ years. We'll go back to October 10,2011 which is less than 2 years. I consider recent data. If you bught 1000 shares of Walgreens on that day it would cost you 33,110 dollars. It opened up at 33.11 (1,000 shares.) If you took the same amount of money and invested it in Rite Aid, you would have bought 35,223 shares. It opened up at 94 cents (35,223 shares.) You are a proud owner of Rite Aid shares. It is a lot more shares for the same amount of money. Now it gets better. IF you would have sold February 15, Walgreens shares closed at 41.15. You got a profit of 8,040 dollars. Not bad for a less than two year invesment. Now if you sold Rite Aid on that same day they closed at 1.57. Your profit is 22,190 dollars and 40 cents. If you compare two investments at the same time and the same amount of money which is better? I don't know about you but I think it is Rite Aid.I love money. Money is good. Money is green. I see a lot of green in this stock.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy
