You would be wrong. Why is it that one who was long, who stay longer than he should (based upon the laws of dimishing returns) sees something wrong here. Every long position is extreme (as soon as you see 20.01 on the tape before the open we are seeing posts about how we should be set to go to 21 or 22 that day) and when we see AH of 19.31 we see the other morons state it's going to gap down to 18.
ALL I AM SAYING IS THAT I SOLD BECAUSE I CANNOT UNDERSTAND HOW THIS STOCK & COMPANY HAVE STOOD STILL WHEN OTHER CRAP COMPANIES ON ANY GIVEN DAY ARE UP 5-10%???? THAT IS MY QUESTION. IF I SEE THE COMPANY MAKE A PUBLIC STATEMENT ABOUT -----ANYTHING IT WOULD MAKE ME FEEL COMPELLED TO COME BACK AS THEY HAVE A VERY GOOD STORY BUT FOR SOME REASON DO NOT WANT TO SAY ANYTHING FOR WEEKS>>>>>
THAT'S ALL BOYS
IF YOU NOTICE AND DID NOT POST BUY OR SELL OR SB OR SS. I AM JUST STATING MY OPINION AND WAS LOOKING FOR SOME POSTS WITH SOME INTELLIGENT RESPONSES NOT THE CRAP THROWERS FROM THE LONGS OR THE DOOM SAYERS FROM THE SHORTS.
No problem...... I only hopr they go after this one.
Relax about your posts..... Like they were saying yesterday..... you out post alot of the regulars here.
Keep up the informative posts...... People like me need all the information we can get!
I do very well appreciate your digging into that lie. I would like to see that these liars are getting a shot across the bows from time to time. I had a similar good impression from the conv. with Will: I think he's a very good PR guy.
Best regards, net
PS: I should use less sentences that start with 'I' (I consider it as bad style, but I don't know a good work around ;-) )
And thanked me for making him aware of the post and said that it was total board BS.....
That we already knew..... I asked if they followed up with the legal dept on that type of thing, and he said that sometimes they would and sometimes they wouldn't.
I then told him to feel free to anounce a price increase anytime he felt like it .... and he just laughed....
Seemed like a very easy to talk to guy!
law of diminishing returns, huh.
Funny, cuz i can see VPHM potentially being another 2-5 bagger for 2006. Even a 2-bagger would be better than 99% of the market.
Nothing fundamentally has changed in VPHM in months - - nothing negative that is. Yes, the SPO diluted ownership, but it also offered and gave an opportunity for strong ownership positions in GSC and FMR, among others i'm sure (and thus drastically reduced the "true float"). More importantly, the SPO gave the company $160M and, along with it, one of the cleanest set of financials in the biotech sector.
If you're waiting on news and think we haven't had it for 57 days, you're sadly mistaken. Guidance on Vancocin representing a 30+% growth (w/o price increases) is news. DeRosen buying $200k worth of stock on the open market is news. Detailed discussions on Phase III plans on Marivabir and Phase II plans on HCV is news.
The PPS laggard-performance is temporary - -i assure you. Can't take the heat? Get out of the kitchen. If complaining about it (ecspecially if you have no position) makes you feel better, i suggest you get a hobby...
...first, thrillseeker, I would not be selling here. It is only a matter of time before the self-imposed news blackout by VPHM management ends. If you have to make money everyday, that's one thing and I can not blame you for selling but if you can wait at all - wait. Management is trying to get retail and/or traders out of this (and institutions in) before the next leg up. Do I know that for sure? No - but the signs are there. Does this make total sense? Maybe to a degree but institutional interest is plenty high enough now and I think you can have too much institutional interest as well (these guys will sell on a dime on any bad news since it is not their own money).
Nothingman - I had a feeling derosen_inc was you - I recognized similarities in one of the past posts. LOL! It's always funny when people have multiple aliases - that they feel like they need to hide or something.
You are right that it isn't 57 days since news - it is now 58.
Technically, you can say increased Vancocin guidance was news but the fact they put it out there to get the secondary through and it had no effect on the stock price doesn't do that much for me.
There hasn't been anything new on Maribavir or HCV since November 28 that I can see.
The DeRosen buy came at the same time as others sold so I'm not sure that means anything.
Only two things I've seen lately are the new hirings, management promotions and management raises (so at least we can be happy someone is making money lately, I guess) and no news from management, which is killing the stock price.
