Could be to make the new CEO get off to a good start that earnings are going to be excellent. Revenue was a little light in the 3rd Qtr. I think it was because Akorn was so confident that they would have the Generic available that stocks were allowed to fall with the hope of rebuilding with the cheaper alternative. But alas, as we have all seen Akorn did not get to market and now Amerisource has them in May, but that too will be missed as OGD needs to cover its pitute that they hung out without research. Our customers will have to rebuild their stock and Akorn is deemed unreliable. So cousin Vinny will get a good 1rst Qtr and probably a good year as well as a nice close out to last year.
All the inside players have been buying stock.A problem with earnings doesn't materialize over night the day before earnings. The CFO wouldn't step into a problem. This is good news. The explaination of this change of leadership, that they should discuss tomorrow, coupled with tomorrow's good earnings should be the catalyst for a long overdue upward move into the low teens.
