    Obama likes Lincoln

Swore in on His bible. Now we know that 'O likes him because he freed the slaves (blacks). However, do you suppose Lincoln also had it in mind to allow blacks to vote, get lifetime welfare, use EEOC - Affirm Action.

I don't know, but I suspect that Lincoln thought that the gift of freedom was good enough. If blacks were unhappy here they could book transport to Liberia. Free to do as they pleased.

Now 'O also likes LBJ but thinks LBJ fell short of what blacks really need. What do blacks need now ? Better RAP music ? You know, the kind that talks about killing whites, beating up biatches, inciting violence, taking drugs, running gangs, etc ?

    • I don't know who you are responding with this post but since you called me out, please remember that I have no problem calling anyone including you a left-wing assh*le on a regular basis and/or when you demonstrate being an assoholic. Bush made a lot of mistakes over his 8 years and I called him out for that. You will NEVER call Obama out or admit a mistake he has made and he had made so many already. So you have me trying to be objective and seeing obvious errors of people I supported and you drinking Kool-Aid at every opportunity. That's a lot closer to being an assh*le in my book that being a registered Republican.

    • "The problem with you over the top left wing psychopaths is you have been so used to whining and complaining about things for so long you don't realize most people are just tired of hearing from you. You have been posting the same garbage on this board for YEARS."

I understand, Jack. Nobody likes to be shown they have been dead wrong for 8 years, least of all a doctor (wink).

I have posted this before.....you boys really need to get a life.........

    • """ And why can't you just ESAD already?? """

That's what the black guy in Oakland said to the four cops he killed the other day. Nice days work. Looks like they need some stimulus budget money. Better education perhaps ? Maybe a pep talk from 'O ?

    • "Let's not forget to add the knee-jerk left wing psychopaths that have posted on this board for the last 8 years to your list of individuals who should be marginalized."

The thing about those that have been criticizing Bush for the last eight years is that their posts were prescient. Their claims can only be characterized as hyperbole if they were exagerated. But Bush's admin DID have fascist tendencies, many members of the admin DID turn out to be criminals, and Bush as it turns out WAS the worst President in history. It's not bragging if you can back it up and it isn't hyperbole if it is true.

    • "...Affirmative action did not work ..."

Depends on what you mean by "affirmative action" and "did not work".

George W. Bush, and many others like him, got into ivy league colleges and were given degrees through the "legacy system" which is just affirmative action for rich whites, and that has been in effect for a long time. As far as to the goal of making rich whites richer, it sure has worked.

The ultimate effect of this is legacy CEOs and legacy top management related to the CEOs at many top firms, and you've seen what they've accomplished in the last year or two. (Not to mention a legacy president.) Now those rich whites want a government handout.

And we'll give it to them - again!

      'Nuff said.

    • Let's not forget to add the knee-jerk left wing psychopaths that have posted on this board for the last 8 years to your list of individuals who should be marginalized.

Perspective is important. As a political system the US seems to go too far to the left or too far to the right. Perhaps if the people in the middle spoke out more often than those on the extremes we'd have a more civilized political environment. But I am afraid that the left has become so accustomed to name calling and "making hyberbolic claims" of their own that they may never get above it. Although the right is not immune from criticism either.

    • "Affirmative action did not work and Obama knows it, so now he is looking for a direct wealth transfer rather than they work for it."

The lunatic fringe (Jack and CO.) continues to persist in amusing themselves by making hyberbolic claims that Obama is the next Hitler, is a socialist, a communist, a wealth re-distributor, a Muslim, a non-citizen, etc. Within the walls of the wing nut sound chamber these accusation reverberate as they have since the advent of Right wing hate radio. Nonetheless it is encouraging to see that the central figures who make up the sound chamber are becoming marginalized. Grudgingly, there is a growing realization by the Right that Rush, Hannity, Coulter, and those like them add nothing of substance to the debate.

In the real world honest disagreement rages on the boundries of government intervention in the markets, the limits of deficit spending, and being forced to deal with the devil who got us here........the banks. These are serious issues which call for serious people to discuss them. The sooner everybody understands this, and tunes out the ad men selling hate as a way to get rich, the better off we will all be.

    • Obama also likes Osama, Rev. Wright, Black Panthers, Black Muslims, etc...

    • You're a maggot. If there is to be any allowable bigotry it should be aimed at you.
