Einstein once said, 'The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.'
It is the poor who habitually elect Democrats---yet they are still POOR
"You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.. You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong. You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift. You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down. You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred. You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence. You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves." Abraham Lincoln
That's right genius...if only the repubicans followed these principles..you can blame the democrats for trying to bring down the rich, but don't tell us that the repubicans are anything but the slaves of the Wall Street and Big corporations. A very long term dmagae is done when the wealth keeeps concentrating to very few and larger and larger number of general population finds it harder and harder to earn enough to survive and bring up a family. When people are not taken care of their basic needs such as right to health care for example and right to education, then you have resentment and revolt. At least they are not there with pitchforks and setting big banks on fire, yet. But if you follow repubicans ( at least the ones in power now and not the dead ones like Lincoln), that may not be too far...
