He could not allow Hillary to testify because she would not want to lie under oath to Congress. Not that she has anything against lying but it would ruin her chances.

Interesting to note that only one guys family (father) voiced any disagreement and condemnation over the incident. The dead ambassador's own sister was good with it, accepting of it, and the mother is silent on the issue. Being from California one can partially understand it as a true blue response.

Regardless whether you like her, she was elected by the people of New York state as their senator several terms before being appointed Secretary of State. The people of New York thought highly of her.
