Except that a car is not a human being and people with pre-existing conditions typically pay a much higher premium for insurance. Are you actually suggesting that these people should not have access to insurance?
Can they afford the insurance? If not why not? Do they qual for Medicaid? If not why not. What type and terms of insurance do you think is acceptable? Should we allow medicine to drive you to bankruptcy? Are all doctors republicans? Hospitals republicans? Nurses republicans? The unions that represent them republicans? Is a Mercedes Benz a republican? If Medicaid will be expanded by at least 33% under the ACA and only temporarily funded by the Fed, thereafter handed to the states to pay, what will become of the states budget? More taxes perhaps? On who? Just the rich? One million or more of income? Will the rich continue to legally reside here? Will there be a world police to catch people and confiscate all wealth for the common good?
