How many benifits are there to NR?

Dan, what other product ever released has as many benifits as NR? As poducts go NR seems to have a plethora of benifts. Is it more useful than Coke? Microsoft Office? Airplanes? Snorkles? Fish oil? Seriously where does this product fit, perhaps I am taking it a little too far.

    • HPN recently launched its product containing NR recently to support neuroprotection in contact sports. Importantly, the CEO of Chromadex said that more products containing NR would be launched by the end of the year. It will be interesting to see how the products containing the ingredients perform in the market. That is the key test. If it meets with success, then it will lead to lot of positives for the company. This is especially true considering the number of indications for which it is being researched. The other indications for NR mentioned in various studies indicate that with more research, it can find uses in numerous conditions. It could be used as a nutritional supplement to improve metabolic and age-related disorders characterized by defective mitochondrial function. It could prevent obesity, increased muscle performance, improve energy expenditure and prevented diabetes. It might benefit the cognitive function of patients suffering with Alzheimer's Disease. As a supplement, NR may help reduce the presence of certain Alzheimer's associated toxins in the brain. Increasing NAD+ is known to reduce the muscular degradation associated with Muscular Dystrophy in zebrafish. NAD+ therapy can also be beneficial in the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis. NR in particular has been considered as the only NAD+ precursor capable of providing NAD+ directly to neurons. Increasing the production of NAD+ can provide protection against axon degeneration caused by mechanical or neurological injury. The company is now collaborating with The Scripps Research Institute to provide it with NR for research. Apart from NR, the company is also researching jointly with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute on microbial technique to produce catechins for commercial use, including dietary supplements, food and beverages, and cosmetic products. Catechins are the basis for several antioxidant compounds. However, all this is perhaps still preliminary, and more research may be required.

    • @roxy....this idiot really is a short shill...u can't reason with a short...I'm not just calling names...hasn't everyone noticed when this big mouth shows up...it is always when the stock goes down a few cents...in the 70's it was when the stock went to 69 and now in the 80's it is when the stock hits 79 or less...typical shill with their accusing of everyone working for the company and being an insider and using the word criminal...this short shill just doesn't have any imagination....and is really really bad at it....
