    • It seems Credit Suisse has strong interests of ANAD or is a share holder of ANAD. Comments?

      • Credit Suisse has been the lead placement agent (underwriter) for SEVERAL of ANAD's secondary and convertible offerings over the years including the most recent and as a result they most certainly have a strong "special interest" in ANADIGICS. IMHO, Credit Suisse's "downgrade" of ANAD from "BUY" a few weeks prior to ANAD's latest earnings by Credit Suisse was obvious and completely contrived with the purpose of ensuring that their rating of ANAD had room for several upgrades as their comeback accelerates and perhaps to provide a buying opportunity for their own while confusing the rest of the community for a few weeks before ANAD announced their excellent earnings and even better guidance. If that indeed was the plan, it worked extremely well.

Consider that if your rating of a company is already "BUY" you only have one more upgrade available no matter how stunning a company may perform and I believe Credit Suisse knows full well the compelling nature of ANAD's accelerating comeback story and wished to ensure they at least had two upgrades available to bestow on ANAD as its Revenue, Earnings, and Guidance merit.

Their recent "Downgrade" was incredibly "suspect" in both timing and in the actual wording as it read more like an upgrade than a downgrade which is all the more reason for my opinion of the reason for it and what is likely to happen down the road.

On a different subject, the footnote "Options/Shares issued in conjuntion with the 2005 Long Term Incentive Plan" is a term that folks should familiarize themselves with when reading SEC filings that appear to show insider buying so as to actually understand the difference between Long term Incentive Plan Grants and insider buys being reported to the SEC.
