NPR reported yesterday that WALMARK is considering opening a chain of stores using the DLTR business model. Seems to me that DLTR must be doing something right if it attracts the Goliath. I believe DLTR is still small enought to run faster and smarter than WALMARK in these changing market conditions.
If you divide those job numbers amongst the 50 states then look at it by the # of cities and populace, that is just a drop in the bucket. People in Texas are still buying at DollarTree I can promise you they aren't going to stop anytime soon. There is still a lot, alot of people out of work down here and we are supposed to be one of the brighter economic states!
what matters att he end of the day is not the fake data on the jobs report and auto sales. What matters will be if people keep shopping at DLTR stores(which they will be since the economy is NOT better). Wall Street doing what it does.
