Found this out on the conference call, started at the end of August. My girlfriend usually buys a couple of things from Dollar Tree once a week. We coupon a lot & now we'll probably go there almost every day where we'll spend at least twice as much. It will be interesting to see the effect on sales as coupon fanatics catch on to this.
BTW...For those that think coupons come out of the retailers profits, the mfrs give the retailer more than enough to cover the face value of each coupon. Therefore, increased business from coupon acceptance is a positive for Dollar Tree.
