question: How can cash flow be up 74% but net profit only 50%?

popla, so are sure they arent speculating as well as just hedging. Thts what got enron in trouble, and while i doubt ts is another enron, expect another one to be ready to explode soon. Especially with all the volatility in the energy markets. Yoo tempting for some to resist.

    • Read BHP's SEC Form 20F. They disclose their hedging positions and source of FX gains/losses.

I don't know on what you base these rash, false assertions. I could not find the WSJ item you say reported this.

Your meager attempt to influence stock price will fail. This company group has 5.7 billion shares outstanding trading about 40 million per day in the Australia, UK, SA and USA, 60% owned by institutions.

Don't bother to respond. Your posts get one star rating from me and you are on "ignore".
