The reason Rockwell Collins can't grow the business is because they always pull work and jobs from other locations to protect the good old boy management team when they fail in Cedar. I thought that Clay Jones was going to change this failed business model. I guess he just couldn't control the beast. Awacs business lost because Cedar remove the program from another location a big money maker. Now there is talk of moving sucessful well run programs and layoff the people making these programs work. This is bad business, taking a known success to an uncertain future. Cedar is a great little farming community but the top engineers, purchasing and contract negotiators just are never going to beat a path to Iowa. Time to dump COL stock they just keep making the same bad decisions, that is why we lost GEMS.
Agreed. How many lost contracts does it take for people to wake up, this company is too blinded in metrics of performance to actually fix the real problems(management), here comes a version of 2008 cutbacks all over again.
