    • Ochs,

      "you pays your money..."

That seems to be true with even the good stocks these days in this market... never any guarantees as long as we have half of Europe that can't pay their bills... and for that matter the US too...

I am starting to think the downside is measured from here, but will wait it out a little further to see what happens... it does not feel like the next few weeks are going to be make or break at this point.

    • Bull,

First, they haven't announced the Q2 call yet. Second, I have no idea if this is a good place to establish a position as it all depends on Dr. Ali's guidance and the uptake on new products. I think the saying "you pays your money and you takes your chances" applies here.

    • Ochs,

I am out of town for the next few weeks - you see any reason to re-establish a position in the Switch before the 25th conf call?

I still have not bought in, but starting to feel like we have found a bottom (at least temporarily). What are your thoughts? Will I come back and see it up at $12?? ;-)

    • mrchubby,

You are correct. 2012 is when they expect revenue to start increasing significantly and the introduction of products for mobile devices. I confused TranSwitch with another bow wow in my portfolio, Oclaro. Thanks for making me recheck.

    • mrlucky,

First, thanks for sharing the information about STM's general solution. Second, I will go back and check but I remember them saying shipments in Q2, but they didn't expect significant revenue until Q4 and beyond. Keep the faith.

    • This makes no sense. TXCC up when market down, and being manipulated down when market starting to go up.

    • I think you may be confused about when shipments of the new products are supposed to start. It is my understanding the company has always said Q4 is when we should start seeing some revenues from these new products. If you have a copy of the last conference call you can probably verify that.

    • bull,

No problemo. It looks like it may be a little difficult to have fun today. Last week, I was hoping Oclaro had said goodbye to the 6's. Sigh.

    • Ochs -

OK, I see it now, it was under the "See More Replies" tab which I sometimes miss... just having a little fun to break up the monotony.

    • Hi George,

Companies do this quite often, just read their press releases. For example, in the last CC Ali K. talked about TXCC's Entropia device and how the Japan earthquake had delayed prodction ramping for two firms, KDDI and Softbank, which will impact TXCC revenues in the near term.

In addition, do you ever look at the TXCC website?? Obviously not, for if you did you would have noted on the Facebook icon, the TXCC rep wrote this on 5/31/11 at 3:33 pm:

"We are working with Tier 1 customers and hopefully we will get their approval about announcing their names in upcoming news releases."

So TXCC disagrees with you. Bummer, huh?

I commented earlier on this, no company will announce before a product (like a TV) is ready about what they are doing, but once it is ready they most certainly will. It is called advertising....and their competitors will certainly take a look inside that TV, for example, and see what is inside of it.

Whether a customer will give their permission to TXCC to announce the TXCC desihgn win remains to be seen, but TXCC is definately trying to make that hapen.
