I asked if there was any overlap between this ETF and Schwab's small cap ETF and got this reply:
======= "SCHA follows the Dow Jones U.S. Small Cap Total Stock Market IndexSM and SCHB follows the Dow Jones U.S. Broad Market IndexSM.
"2500 largest constituents are included in the Dow Jones U.S. Broad Market IndexSM which represent approximately 99% on the investable U.S. stock market. Since Dow Jones employs clear market capitalization segmentation rules, constituents are ranked in descending order by full market capitalization. So, the constituents that are ranked 1-750 are included in the Dow Jones U.S. Large Cap TSM IndexSM and constituents ranked 751-2500 are included in the Dow Jones U.S. Small Cap TSM IndexSM. They represent approximately 11% of the investable U.S. stock market" ==========
It thus seems to me that SCHB is an excellent way to get balanced exposure to the entire S stock market.
