I can't read any posts since last night.

Everybody has a bad day from time to time, and when it happens on this Board it becomes contagious fer sherr.

A friend of mine belongs to some Harvard MBA club that meets once a week at an investment lunch.

One of the guys talked a few weeks ago about a new ATT ot T bond selling at $78 and my friend bought a thousand of them. They topped $102 today. Before that they recommended ING at $14 and he bought a thousand also.

I mentioned to my friend about NLY and he asked his Harvard buds to research it for him, he's a chiropractor treating some of these Harvard guys if you want to know it all. The answer was positive and he bought a thousand shares today at $19 or so.

I just put an order at $18.50 and will follow how the stock does tomorrow. I learned a lot on this board about stocks I never heard about before, and enjoy most posts fer sherr.

Don't get discouraged, everybody is nervous about tomorrow's annoucement, especially the employees who hear rumors of a 10% cut of the workforce across the board. I hope they chop some of the old overpaid wood.

    • Mispec- Good post! There are some intelligent posters on this board & it is a pleasure to read their posts even if they are not ABT related.Unfortunately, the recent attacks by posters who are not shareholders have led to nasty exchanges & I'm sure guys like Lib who add value restrain themselves.I do find putting certain posters on IGNORE helps.I do check your leads like Elan & sometimes post other stocks to watch like GENZ when it was $17 & HLTH @ $7.I am interested in NLY & DUK but would like both @ $17.ABT is a definite LT Hold for me as dividends augment my retirement but I do take some CG each year when it runs up as I have a large holding.

    • You posters (me included) are all delsusionally caught up with our thoughts of self that are very distant from reality!
Nobody on this board is very interested in what the others are saying!
They only read what they "want to read" --or their own smart ass posts.
This board could be productive, but it just isn't--it is dysfunctional, because of the delusions of importance!!!
This board could be dynamic, where people with some brains( I believe they actually do exist on this board, if people would show some use of the) actually discuss issues that can make us some money--after all--that's why I buy stocks.
In the meantime, there are only two yahoo boards that I find useful-where ideas flow freely -and people are not branded.
So this can continue to be the dysfunctional delusional board! Maybe that's appropriate given the Board that it is!!! and the Company it keeps!
