The Polish girls are the best looking. I think the English are getting fat, BTW.
On my cruise, Celebrity's Constellation, the passengers were old and fat for the most part. Most ate all day long. It was an upscale ship but maybe not upscale enough. The rich are, for the most part, slender.
Among my many predjudices, obesity is close to the top of the list. Watching a fat person eating large amounts of food ruins my appetite and is so distracting I really can't enjoy myself. The 6 PM "seating" as they call it seemed to attract the obese. We ate at 8:30 and it seemed to me it was a slimmer crowd.
Sounds like Plute will be the last to buy gold. There will be no $50 ABT at EOY as regularly predicted by me. In fact it may be $30 (or less).

The only way we probably would have met is if we both knew we were going to be on the same ship. I do go around and talk to a lot of people on a cruise. Plute says he doesn't like cruises but I like them because as you mentioned - only unpack once.

Damn, I hope you are OK. It sounds like you are doing well. I would have loved to meet you on a cruise; I went on Celebrity. It's a great trip and you'll make it next year. If we had been on the same ship I wonder if we would have known it?

The Dutch women of Amsterdam, I saw many in them sidewalk-level windows showing their wares fer sherr.
For a country with such a detestable cooking, I will admit that the Dutch girls offer a welcome respite.
But why these oriental rugs on the tables, I always wonder about it. Must make the food fly!

Reminds me of the John Candy movie where if he finished the monster steak, everyone ate for free. I believe it was The Great Outdoors.

Penn, I had a friend in college who was banned from a local pizza chain, much as a card counter in banned in Vegas, because he routinely ate a king & queen pizza in less than half an hour. The pizza joint advertised free pizza for anyone able to do it. They had his picture at all locations so as not to be devoured by this madman. John

There is an upsart chain of bistro's that just opened a joint in my home town. The have a burger that is twenty ounces. I have seen it, most times a family of four cuts it like a pizza and all leave happy.
My daughter's boyfreind ate one all by himself, I thought I was going to get sick.

What we have here is an issue in conflict(discussion), the best way to resolve conflict is to give up the emotional attachment to being RIGHT.
You all know the saying about opinions.
I had a guy I grew up with that by age 18 was 6'2" and 420. He used to sit down and eat three 10" cheese steaks at a time.
Died at 26 of heart failure, no desease, the engine just couldn't push the truck.
