Persh, Your comments about Southern Baptists, and their one-sided allegiance to the Zionists reminds of another example of their good intentions gone bad. I am a grad of North Georgia College, which by the way is one of the seven Essential Military Colleges. At that time it was in a "dry" county. That was nearly forty years ago, and it has now been invaded by Yuppies from Atlanta, so I kind of doubt that it's still dry. But the point is that there are a number of such counties throughout the South that remain dry because of local, mostly Baptist, voters' actions to force temperance on the population. In fact, they are the unwitting allies of the bootleggers, who in modern times are generally more re-sellers of bonded booze than manufactures. I saw this later working in my early years for "Baxter's" and "Abbott's" in the Carolinas. Snug
sug, it's not so much the metro yuppies infiltrating the rural landscape of north Georgia as the suv's with Florida plates. Nonetheless, nice land is still available for $10,000/acre, though substantially higher for lake or long views. I become bored after a week in the mountains.
