These guys are at new all-time highs, NLY is coming back with a vengeance BTW.
Greenspan will bring short term rates to the long term rate level, then he will ask the treasury secretary to issue long term bonds to finance the debt. It will cause long-term rates to jump w/o hurting the economy, except it will have an adverse effect on real estate prices. The REITS will go up as they make their money on the differential betwen short and long term rates. Mark my word.

I'm certain your wife would LOVE to have another job...
I agree about weB though, it is good to have another amiable bud around. I think we have all missed him.
Cat.
wc,
I still have the BasicX and Parallax controller stuff, haven't done much with 'em. Also bought a ET-3400 trainer from e-bay awhile back, uses the Motorola 6800, probably early 80s vintage. Watching e-bay for a 6811 controller package, missed one awhile back.
I like that stuff, it's what I really want to play with, but this stock stuff, trout fishin', sawmill operatin', cookin', dish washin', car fixin', marathon runnin' and other assorted stuff keeps gittin' in the way.
No complaints, tho.
see ya.

Thanks Wealth... Don't work'er to hard...
Are you still playing around with the ASIC Controllers...?
weB
wc,
There is some cool stuff out there, I'll have to get the wife to pick up a another part-time job to support my tech habit. Yeah, that's the ticket.
I'm off to e-bay, looking for tuner stuff.
Good to see ya around these days.

Kiki,
Times are better than we sinners deserve. I have been trying to live at the foot of the cross and praying my stocks and funds will keep on climbing.
I did not have to sell my GOOG and probably will buy a little KKD tomorrow.
Blessed in Nashville, Persh
Persh,
I picked up a PCI video card for my PC for ten bucks on e-bay, put it in today, and now have a dual monitor setup. Pretty cool. Now all I need is a decent monitor. I dragged one monitor up from the basement and it started sweating due to high humidity/and high dewpoint. Naturally, I'm in a hurry, turn it on and hear a few nasty arcing sounds in the monitor , kinda like a bug zapper on steroids, the kind that would kill a cow. Well, that dog don't hunt no more. Had to borrow from another system.
I'd recommend it, really easy to set up, just use a dry monitor.
see ya.

PS All outta cash again, have to figure out what to sell now.
