Kiki- I always thought annuities were a gamble whether the company survived rather than you. Bad deal in my opinon as are long-term nursing home insurance.Just have good genes, eat smart, exercise daily, social intercourse daily, drink good wine & have lots of money.
I once signed up for an annuity ca. 1988 and ejected two years later. I carried the loss on my 1040 for two years.
The Lebanese not knowing how to find the Danish embassy just set the entire embassy row on fire, some of them climbed on top of the building after setting it up on fire and had to be rescued by ladders.
Hamas is mad 'cause the West may stop funding them, they never saw the cartoons whatsoever.
Don't push the cork back too deep! Kiki
The whole deal seems fishy to me they want to pay a pretty large up front "bonus" to get us in the plan. That seems to me to be a CYA ploy in case the mkt goes side ways... they call it a reward. Spooks me out!
The only annuity worth the money is sold by the Vanguard group, with very low fees and easy to get in and out (no load or early redemption penalties).
Stay away from the others.
Good luck! Kiki
