    Glad im out.

I looked at the stagnate stock of ABT that made me glad I dumped it in 02. $48 per share. Three years later hovering in the low to mid $40's. Put it in a savings account and earn at least 2% growth.

Lame duck 5 years running, like the Beetles song: I see it for miles and miles and miles!!

    • <<...like the Beetles song...>>

Who the hell are the 'Beetles'?

(Some spelling errors are just too egregious to go unchallenged.)

    • Ponte,

Here is a message proving my point he is trying to build his image to himself!!

      Ponte:

Three salient points to my reply

      1. I understand and appreciate the genius of the 'masters'. I have studied music extensively, from the gregorian period thru the baroque, from classical to renaissance, from romantic to impressionism -- I appreciate both the art and the science of music. As a classically trained performer, I love it all. My opinions are neither whimsical nor uninformed. I have studied the Schubert tenor solos, and Die Forelle in the original Db major key is a particular favorite.

      2. I admire your intensity of musical appreciation, even if I don't know the depth of your study or the extent of your musical training. I recognize that your love and dislikes are deep and genuine. I believe you have a very fine sense of art, and I respect your points of view.

      3. Despite what I believe is your earnest sincerity, your dislike (or downright abhorance, if that's what it is) of the Beatles (or of any other musical form) is finally a PERSONAL conclusion. Your opinion is neither more nor less valuable than anyone else's. Your personal education and background may lend support to your conclusions, but at the end of the day, they are just that -- YOUR conclusions. IMHO, listen to the elegance yet simplicity of 'Yesterday', and you simply cannot deny the genius of McCartney.

    • AOK I would believe your posts over the pent up inner personality conflits of the ladd and all other positing names. I just hope you are not another voice in ladds head.

Laddy remember your Depakote it does wonders for your problem.

    • Thank the White ladd for the recomendations!!

    • <<..Just a so so song, that most anyone could write...>>

But guess what? Not just 'anyone' did. That's the beauty of it -- simple yet elegant. And it is a worldwide known melody and lyric that has earned over a billion dollars (just that ONE song) alone.

Guess you could say the same about 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' -- just a so-so song that most anyone could write. But it took Mozart to do it!

    • <That's mean, AoK. I honestly love those waltzes and have the CD in my car which I listen to while riding around.>

Waltz around with Kiki and see where that lands you, friend.

      Doing the rumba.

      aok

    • <Richard Straus! Love him. "Tales From the Vienna Woods, The Blue Danube." I could go on...>

No, you could not, but that is OK.

Ask Kiki. He is your true bud.

    • Persh- You're right an overight. I thought he was lost at sea, but Kiki is highly valued for his intellect. How about trading Phy for Kiki?

Corrected your spelling. Your concepts are hopeless.

Explain otherwise, Pluto. We all know that you and Kiki are sophisticates.

You must be kidding. Kiki is a mis-fit droll. He is not nice and adds MEAN. What a great contibution !
