    Lib's hindsight sorely needed today

Where is the market going, you should have warned us. Snug must have turned bullish at last.

How much red ink in everybody's portfolio today? It is good to talk about it, don't internalize.

    • Kiki- ABT insured that portfolio was GREEN. I think NFI will bounce back in a week to $37.80 and I will have my $1.70 divy.I do regret not selling some HSP when it hit $43.89 the other day but I do not like to figure CG or should I have just played it dumb like Creper and used the higher issue price? Lad knows better.I decided not to buy MSFT until it falls to $21 and INTC to $17 as Techs are dead.

    • Kiki,
Maybe you are right enternalizinfg is not good. I have lost money on 1/2 of the Elan (ELN) that I have. They are supposed to break any time /c a drug called Tysarbi(sp) fo MS. Guess what?; the FDA is on hold driving share price down. Gasp! Gasp!
      The drug is probably sunk.

    • Kiki,

Mucho red today. I will not calculate it as it would create pain.

All the indicators have been showing over bought. My technical guru was buying puts on DIA. He's looking smart. I do not know if we'll get another dose tomorrow, but there has seemed to be a lot of complacency. Nobody seems worried about the market and you keep hearing about the Dow closing in on a new all time high, even though the S&P is 15% away from one. People have been ignoring the commodity price rises. We might have more to go. When you hear the gurus talking about "a healthy consolidation," you know it's time to load up on puts.

You know it's a bad day when the laggard is about the only stock on my watch list that is green.

    • Ponte,
      Goodbye!

    • Ponte,
I know what set you off and it is pure jealously. I think its too bad that you are so desperately pissed at the world. But alas you are perfectly healthy and still cannot see past your own misfortune. Snap fucking out of it and move on.
What you need is a good ass kicking and I would be only to glad to oblige if like you my health was perfect. You are a smart man but oh' so fucking dumb about life!

    • Ponte,
Bull Shit. I pay for it and so does everyone else, Ingmar.

    • Stude,
This is the same idiot who not 10 days ago was attacking me for being Mr. Niceguy and wanting to be loved by the msg board members??? He is just jealous & twisted. He uses my religion in vile disgusting ways. He started his new attack after reading my msg. to Plute about my wife. Before then he is giving me tips (I asked) on new audio equipment. If I could reach his sorry ass I would kick it arthritis or not!

    • Spec,
Your post hit me wrong. I have been a major investor (3500 Shares) in ELN for a long time. Personally last night was hell, not your fault, sorry about snapping at you.
You may want to introduce some tact into your lexicon or you will be accused of sitting on Ponte's lap as you type you msg.'s to any and all. I know exactly what I am talking about thankyou very much. I have been in Pharma investments since 1969. Have started and sold two Pharma/Diagnostic companies, have been in National Mgt of Sales and Mkt for two of the U.S.largest Pharmas; so have fair grasp of RX/Diagnostic mkt.

    • Creper,

I don't have any animosity toward anyway. I have personally been insulted by the best and hardly notice it anymore. Having said this, no one is so clever as to fool most of us by bragging or bullshiting. Chest beating is a good way to loose respect as it suggests a need to constantly prove oneself.

All in all, I think it best to spend less time on this MB and do something constructive.

    • stude,
"Chest beating is a good way to lose respect as it suggests a need to constantly prove oneself." Plute must do this at least once a day and sometimes two or three times. Poor Plute.
