IMO you just happen to have a better-than-most memory, and your a cognoscente in classical music encyclopedia.

      Pontificamus te! Kiki

    • Ponty,

An internet idiot savant is unique. I may be the first to describe this being. I will publish my final assessment in NATURE soon.

Do not let this come between us!

      Your bud, Persh

    • Wc,

Ponty is a MB idiot savant. A unique breed but more will be identified as the interet spreads.

    • I autta give you a big ole kiss man...

I think that was one of the most sincere and articulated posts I have ever seen from you...

I am actually very proud of you for your uninhibited expression and open-minded depiction in this one... I will remember it...

      Have a good one Ponte'...

    • I understand a lot more than most people give me credit for understanding...

I understand the difference between being called an Idiot, and calling someone an Idiot...

I do not ever recall being called an Idiot... However, I have been called lotsa other things Ponte'... To be honest, when someone calls me something, I usually wonder what in the hell I did to spark the insinuation...

    • Ponte'...

I think you like tests... You need a challenge... However, I have also noticed when someone tries to have an exchange with you, you start critsizing their spelling or pernunciashen...

I don't know if you want to be tested for enjoyment, or if you just want to tear into someone's a$$ for having the audacity to question you...?

      What's your Gig, Dood...?

    • Together they make a wonderful dressing...

    • Ponte'... Tell me something I don't know... I told you a long time ago we are oil and water...

That don't mean we should not keep trying...

    • Thank you Lad...

I know the Hummingbird analogy is not really applicable in the real world, however, it makes perfect sense in the Infinite world...

I think your response indicates the kind of listener you are... You don't take things at face value... You try to look beyond the frey and the ordinary...

I think this is a strength and a definite attribute on your part...

      Best...

    • weB;

At first, I struggled to understand your note.

Knowing you to be a man of philosophy and vision, I wondered if your story were purposely meant to be impossible (poor little hummingbirds could not, of course, fly through space) just to drive home the point about the size/shape/scope/breadth of infinity.

Then, I noticed you used the word 'farest' --- hmmm, what do we surmise from the use of this interesting construct?

-- Is there a hidden point in the similarity of this non-word to a 'real' word, i.e. forest? You know, the whole 'forest and trees' analogy.

-- Or, perhaps it should be read as a homonym for 'fairest' -- that would fitting, the gentle 'fair' planet and 'fair' galaxy would be suited to something a beautiful as a hummingbird.

-- Or, very simply, it might just be your way of tweaking the red cheeks of our bud Ponte, expecting him to pounce on this as a misspelling of 'farthest', and offering yet another smile as you ponder his expected reply.

But then it struck me.... your key phrase declares "Infinity is an Anomaly" -- and therein lies the ultimate keyword -- ANOMALY.

So, much like the oft quoted phrase "a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma", your note needs no special interpretation -- it stands vibrantly on its own as a true 'weB-ism'.

      Congratulations.
