Why big sell-off in ABT last couple of days?
Doesn't appear to be "news" related other than settlement of a law suit which doesn't seem to warrant such a drop in an otherwise very stable stock. Any ideas?

ssettlement of $184m in the headlines I suppose. However, that's only 10% of a single quarter's NET profit - it's nothing!

Well, well, well......
It's just ABT being ABT.
Genius prognosticators were posting here in early June that this stock is a "coiled spring" going to the statospheric levels EOY.

I took your advice a few weeks ago and sold the last of my abt. I had sold the bulk of it several years back, but am glad I got rid of the rest. Maybe I will get back in if it drops below 40. time will tell
