A disgrace.
As I said many times before: ABT will ALWAYS snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
If it is not a consent decree, foreign exchange rate, YET ANOTHER Q charge for this or that OR FRIGGING MILLION OF OTHER EXCUSES THAT MILES W. WILL SNOW YOU WITH it will be something new.
Like the latest verdict.

If the verdict is upheld, will that mean also that ABT will have to give up Humira production?

Not at all. Abbott will end up paying some royalties. But in the end, it is highly likely, that the award, if it isn't tossed out on appeal, will be substantially reduced. Abbotts pipeline, across their divisions is so strong that they will hardly be impacted. This is simply the cost of doing business today.
