Financial Terrorists
Are they focused on Healthcare right now? Any thoughts on this would be great. I have viewed so much selling in my healthcare holdings, I think the segment is being attacked by the hedge funds that all work together to bring companies /or sectors down. Look at GILD, TEVA, MRK, PFE, MDT, BDX, all of these firms are growing, have cash on hand and yet they are selling off!
The healthcare reform bill should boost sales at all these firms, maybe with margin contraction, yet the Vol. increases should be huge! Also the avg. us investor has no clue when it comes to currency issues in earnings reports! Well I'm buying slow and steady as the world will always need healthcare and these dogs are the best.-

Which part of the WS doesn't operate this way?
Whether going down or up serve the same purpose: Separate the people from their money, in the process of trading securities.
We are broke. But who did it? Not the people.
Where did the money go? Ask those who control the money.

Tide, if you really believe these things, you are either purposefully being blind, just bitter, or both.
WS played a role in the current state of the country but who put a gun to the heads of "the people" and made them buy homes they couldn't afford. You don't think govt. had any role in the events of the last 2 years? They were as culpable as WS or anyone else. Did WS have anything to do with unions pricing themselves right out of a job?
Point is, you keep pointing at WS as the entity that led to the problems this country has today. I cry BS on that belief. We(WS, ordinary people, unions, the govt.) all are to blame. To believe otherwise is not being intellectually honest. Period.
I love my country but we have truly become the land of the whiner and the home of the victim. Worse yet, we now require those of us who did act responsibly to bail out those who did not.
Call me old fashion or worse if you must, that's your right, but I firmly believe that until acting responsibly and being accountable stand for something again, we will be stuck right where we are or worse.

They say it will go back up Bs often the money is lost forever. . They can take it up just as fast without your money and it will appear as is if everyone just made their money back. .
Now If investors follow this sudden upswing, again they will lose because from that point on the mms take it down slowly yet again. If enough investors tire waiting and sell, they not only lose but also often watch an eventual upswing fast almost certain without your money. You say to yourself trades are cheap lets go back in.... then the same people begin anew to slowly then bring the stock down again for (your) guaranteeing you losses again. <<

Hilary is right more rules for the super rich, what happened to this country? Violence. Mean spirited people and crime and rules for the rich and NOW censorship and things like guaranteed loss with stocks and many people have to gratefully gravitate to welfare or disability, many people are uncounted, many people without healthcare, many people have to breathe polluted air as we watch the TV and news media ignore it all investors will have been raped for decades without anyone ever challenging all this or going over this. <<
