I am wondering whether the rise in ABT over the past few months is already taking into account the breakup values of the two new units. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Hello. I am Randy with Ed's tough troubles around the throat and clints.. Now I am ready to make Pfizer should make WPI(Watson) a whole lot of Money now too pfIzer quotes LonGly Drugs Too Now for wrongs committed by LLY(Lilly) drugs especially ziprexa IT can MAKE You Fat man or dame too small in the chest once long ago now long in Lilly no way do IT now cancelled too.
I am anticipating the the two divided companies will generate stockholder value but it could be wrong. ABT is spinning out of a higher risk and more dynamic sector to stick with tried and true produces. One might go up and one might just hit the skids.
Comment?
i may sell ABT once they do split ...a huge reason why i liked them in the first place was because of their diversification with Pharma and Medical Products. With the pharma you got growth with patent risk, with the medical products you got overall stability but not the growth of the pharma. they balanced each other IMO.
Yes - its baked into the cake.
well obviously you are wrong as ABT is hitting new highs.
72-75 by break up

I would say half is due to the breakup, you need to listen to the conference call, the growth in the areas they penetraded is way over 25% and less debt to sustain any future financial shock.
